On the eve of  the Parliament session, the Congress today apprehended trouble from the Opposition saying that it was going through a difficult time and wanted to divert people's attention from its internal crisis.

"The opposition is going through troubled times. They are going through their moments of crisis and catharsis. Faced with an internal Tsunami, they will be indulging in disruptive, non-productive strategy in Parliament...That would be most unfortunate," party spokesman Abhishek Singhvi told reporters here.

BJP has decided to bring an Adjournment Motion in the Lok Sabha on the first day of the winter session on the Sugarcane (Control) Amendment Order, 2009, against the UPA government. Singhvi said in June this year, the opposition played a constructive role and asked them to take this spirit forward.

He said all issues can be discussed and debated in Parliament and asked the Opposition to keep Parliament's dignity and democracy in mind and adopt a positive approach.

"A lot of work can be done in the month-long session," he said, adding that disruptive tactics like adjournments and walk outs do not serve any purpose and Parliament's time is wasted.

Asked whether Congress was fearful of debates on issues like Madhu Koda corruption case and price rise and was facing its own internal Tsunami, Singhvi said he was referring to "negative Tsunami" of the Opposition.
