Cold waves today claimed six more lives in Uttar Pradesh as mercury dipped sharply, taking the toll to 30 this season.
One death each was reported from Mathura, Varanasi, Aligarh, Auraiya, Ramabai Nagar and Rampur, official sources said.
The state capital recorded minimum 3.5 degree Celsius while the maximum was at 15.7 deg C.
