Nothing could deter the determination of parents to send their children to school on Tuesday. There was full attendance in the institutions, despite the fact that schools were in danger of being attacked by terrorists, following the latter's alleged threat mails.
Principal of CN Vidyalaya Hitendra Trivedi said, "Our school is full, no absentees. We have around 1400 students studying in grades 9-12 and around 1900 students in grades 1-8. There has been absolutely no problem with respect to students remaining absent owing to such threats."

Similar views were shared by Kumkum School principal, Mahesh Thakkar, who said, "There have been no absentees in our school because of the terror threats. We have a total strength of 4700 from classes 1-12 -- Science and Commerce streams and both English and Gujarati mediums."

It was a normal day at Mt Carmel School too. A school official said that their student strength of around 2000 were seen attending class and hopping and skipping around as usual in school.
The same situation prevailed at Shanti Niketan School which had full attendance.
