Chattisgarh Congress MLA booked for demanding funds from industrialists

Former Chhattisgarh minister and Congress MLA Shakajeet Nayak has been booked for threatening and demanding funds from industrialists for the local civic polls, police said here today.
 
A complaint was filed by industrialist Satish Goyal, who received a threatening call from Nayak allegedly demanding cash of Rs one lakh as donations to meet the poll expenses, police said.

Goyal refused to pay the money, on which Nayak threatened with dire consequences, they said.
 
He lodged a complaint with the local police in this regard, police said.
