Centre issues directions on development of industrial areas

The Centre has issued some directions to Delhi Development Authority (DDA) on development of industrial areas in Delhi.
   
Chairman of MCD's Master Plan-2021 Implementation Committee Ved Prakash Gupta, who had earlier raised the issue with the Union Urban Development Ministry, today said according to the approved plan, small plots can be amalgamated to yield additional floor area ratio in industrial areas.
   
"This plan will be implemented on plots with an area of 1,000 sq metres or above and will help in establishing more industrial units," he said in a press statement.
