CBI arrests two in Jagan corruption case

The agency has already filed three charge sheets in connection with the case.

The CBI today arrested former special secretary to Andhra Pradesh government KV Bramhananda Reddy and chairman of MAA TV Nimmagadda Prasad in connection with an alleged corruption case involving Kadapa MP YS Jaganmohan Reddy.

Bramhananda Reddy, an Indian Railways Accounts Service officer, at present posted in Kolkata was called here and arrested by the CBI after intense questioning over his alleged role in helping Jagan in amassing wealth disproportionate to his known sources of his income, CBI sources said.

Prasad, who is alleged to have close links with Jagan, has also been arrested by the agency, they said.

The agency has already filed three charge sheets in connection with the case.
