The Kerala Catholic Federation (KCF) today described Newman college's decision to dismiss Prof TJ Joseph, who was attacked by Popular Front of India activists for preparing a questioning paper which allegedly hurt the sentiments of a community, a 'talibanism' being practised by the Catholic church.
The management decision was 'unkindest cut of all', Federation's president, Joy Paul Pudussery said in a statement in the Thrissur.
The Catholic Bishops' Conference of India (CBCI) and the Kerala Catholic Bishops' Council (KCBC) have transgressed all the boundaries of 'morality' by justifyingthe heinous act of the college management, he alleged.
