Bus catches firein Ghaziabad, 30 persons injured

At least thirty people were injured when the bus in which they were travelling in caught fire after it hit a road divider at Vasundhara colony, police said in Ghaziabad today.

The accident occurred last night, they said.

To douse the flames fire tenders were pressed into service, they said, adding the injured passengers were immediately rushed to a nearby hospital where their condition is stated to be stable.

The bus driver is absconding, they added.
