Bullet-riddled body of missing Trinamool leader found

The body of a Trinamool Congress leader from South 24 Parganas district, who was missing for the last seven days was found today with bullet wounds from Amulia in North 24 Parganas district, police sources said.

The bullet-riddled body of Mianuddin Mollah, the Trinamool Congress leader from South 24 Parganas district was found from Amulia under Deganga police station area in North 24 Parganas district, the sources said.

West Bengal food and civil supply minister and Trinamool Congress MLA Jyoti Priya Mullick said Mollah was Trinamool Congress leader in South 24 Parganas district and was missing for the last seven days.

He was probably abducted by activists of rival political party and killed by them, alleged Mullick.

Police sources said they are investigating the matter.
