Bulandshahar BJP leader abducted

A BJP leader of Bulandshahr in Uttar Pradesh was allegedly kidnapped when he went for his morning walk today.

ADG (Law and Order) Brij Lal told newspersons here that Sudhir Kumar Garg, a resident of Brahmanandanpuri area of Bulandshahr who also runs a shop in the Mandi, had gone for morning walk and did not return home.

At around 8.30 am, he called from his mobile informing his family that he had been kidnapped, after which his son lodged an FIR with the Kotwali police, the ADG said.

Separate police teams have been constitued to locate Garg and the Special Task Force (STF) unit of western Uttar Pradesh has also been asked to assist the Bulandshahr police, the ADG added.
