Boy killed, 2 seriously injured in cylinder blasts in Udhampur

A teenaged boy was blown up into pieces and two persons were seriously injured when LPG cylinders kept inside a shop exploded following a gas leak here, police said today.
   
The blasts occurred yesterday at the shop near the bus stand here.
   
The teenager Kuldeep Kumar, who was working in the shop, was killed, while the shop keeper Bhushan Gupta and a customer Geeta Devi were seriously injured.

Soon the fire spread gutting three shops and a house.    

Fire tenders were pressed into service and the blaze was brought under control after two hours.
   
A case has been registered under Gupta on charges of negligence.
