Boy drowns in north Kashmir

A teenaged boy today drowned when he was taking a bath in a pond in Kashmir, police said.
   
13-year-old Mohammad Ibrahim Sheikh, a resident of Vohapora in Handwara area of Kupwara district, drowned in Nallah Pahroo, 85 kms from here, while taking the bathing with other boys, they said.

The body of the boy was fished out by locals with the help of police.

Yesterday in a similar incident, an 11-year-old boy had drowned in Kupwara district of Kashmir while bathing.
