Boy alleges sodomy attempt by private bank security guard in Delhi

A 17-year-old boy today alleged that a security guard of a private bank attempted to sodomise him in New Delhi.

The incident was reported from Barakhamba. The boy claimed it took place yesterday, police said.

The victim works in a private company in Laxmi Nagar area and is a resident of Bapa Nagar in Central Delhi. According to the boy, he had gone to a bank in Barakhamba Road to deposit a cheque of his company in the evening.

When he reached there, the bank was closed and staff had gone. He asked the guard if he should come on Saturday.

The guard allegedly took him in a room inside the bank, made him consume alcohol and then forcibly tried to remove his pants, the boy claimed.

Police said they were investigating the case.
