For uninterrupted satta betting during the World Cup, bookies have increased the credit limit of regular and new punters from Rs1 lakh to Rs5 lakhs. The increased credit limit will ensure five times more flow of money from all across the state to the bookies.
This is the first time ever that the credit limit for any cricket match has reached Rs5 lakhs.

Credit limit allows a bookie to bet for more money than he has on hand. However, he will need to clear all the dues before the match is over. "We have increased the credit limit so that people can bet for more money. However, it is mainly based on the individual's paying capacity," a bookie said.

Meanwhile, the bookies have chosen India as the most favourite team to win the title. The bookies have rated India as Rs3.10, followed by Sri Lanka at Rs4.75. India was rated at Rs3.50 before the inauguration of the tournament, while Sri Lanka was rated at Rs4.

However, there is no change in the rates of Australia -- Rs5 before and after the start of the World Cup. However, the rate of South Africa has increased from Rs5 to Rs5.75. Also, the rate of England has gone up from Rs4 to Rs7.70. "The possibility of South Africa and England winning is decreasing due to the form of other teams," the bookie said.

Rates of Bangladesh, West Indies, New Zealand have also increased to some extent while that of Pakistan is stationary at Rs9 since the opening of the satta rates. However, bookies also said that the possibility of major increase or decrease in these rates is negligible since the pools for quarter-final are formed.
