Body of one marine university student recovered in Visakhapatnam

The body one of the three B Tech students of the Marine University here, who drowned at the Yerada beach was recovered by a rescue team today.

The body of Om Prakash,20, of Bihar was fished out by the team including the CoastGuard. Searches are on for the other missing two, university sources said.

According to police, 19 students of the University were playing football on the beach sand yesterday. Four B Tech students ventured into the waters to retrieve the ball which fell into the waters and were washed away by the tides.

Local fishermen rescued one student, while three others Om Prakash,20, Sivam Suresh,20, and Giridhar Singh,20, all second year students, drowned, police said.
