But mystery deepens as forensic report suggests murder of the two Vaghela brothers who stayed at the ashram hostel
The mystery over the death of two boys in the Asaram Aashram case has deepened with the coming out of the FSL report. The forensic report of the bodies of the kids rules out the theory of black magic but gives an indication of the murders. The report also criticises the primary police investigation of the case.
The FSL officials, while examining the bodies of Dipesh and Abhishekh, have opined that no black magic was performed on the kids. However, after examining the injuries on the body and cuts on the shirt of Dipesh, the report suspects that the kids might have been killed.
Talking about the contents of the report, SH Iyer, advocate for the parents of the kids, has stated that the report states that the chest and shirt of Dipesh is cut by a sharp one-edged weapon. "The reports suggest that the shirt has been cut by a knife and the injuries on the body also suggested a sharp cut by a knife. This goes against the claim of the police that the bodies had been cut by animals," Iyer stated.
“The report has criticised the primarily investigation by higher officials. The officials have stated that the police had assumed it was an accidental death and hence they failed to gather evidence from the spot. The officials have commented that the investigating officers have not investigated the case from a murder perspective,” Iyer added.
BM Gupta, advocate for Aashram, said that the report is a breather to the allegation against the Aashram. The report clearly denies any black magic 'trick' on the kids.
The state CID which is investigating the case of the mysterious death of two boys, had so far kept the reports confidential. The details were revealed when the advocates of the parents of the kids and the advocate for Aashram inspected the report earlier in October, followed by the order of the Gujarat High Court.
The HC had asked the agency to allow the inspection of the report. The parties have now sought copies of the reports.
