Ahead of the assembly polls in the state scheduled for this year, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has decided to plan people-friendly programmes that can bring more recognition to the party to maximise votes. The BJP youth cell will create a helpline to provide blood to needy people during emergencies.

The youth wing of the BJP will start blood donation helpline numbers across the state. “In each city or district, the saffron party will give ten helpline numbers of their workers who can provide blood to patients during emergency situation,” said sources in BJP youth wing.

“The helpline numbers will be given to the public so that they can contact workers anytime who have contacts and data of blood banks, hospitals and blood donors.”

“The party is preparing for elections in full swing and only people connections can help it get more votes apart from the development work undertaken by the Modi government,” said a source in BJP.

“BJP’s youth wing has been asked to create more and more awareness programmes for public so that the party can get easy recognition among youth and students,” the source said.
