The BJP will see a "lot of developments" in the next three months, said its newly-appointed president Nitin Gadkari who has promised to unveil a blueprint to revive the party which has been reeling under the shock of last year's Lok Sabha poll debacle.

"In the next three months you will see (a) lot of developments in the party," Gadkari told reporters after a meeting with BJP MLAs of Delhi today. In an interview to PTI last month, the new BJP chief had said he would soon come out with detailed plans for the organisation.

On the issue of price rise, Gadkari said the party has finalised a three-tier programme to oppose the spiralling prices of essential commodities.

"We have finalised a three-tier programme to strongly protest the rise in prices of the essential commodities. The protest will take place at district, state and national level," he said.

Criticising the Government for failing to rein in the prices of essential commodities, Gadkari said the party was planning to meet prime minister Manmohan Singh on the issue.

"We are organising a huge protest in front of Parliament in the first half of March," he said. In his interaction with the BJP MLAs, Gadkari is said to have told them to work unitedly to make the party strong in the capital.

On the national capital, he said big cities like Delhi and Mumbai have been facing the problem of huge influx of people from other states creating challenges for the governments to offer better infrastructure.
