BJP to oppose global retailers in Jharkhand

Jharkhand unit of BJP today said it would oppose leading global players from opening their retail chain in the state.

"The party will stage dharna in front of Raj Bhavan in Ranchi tomorrow to protest the government’s decision," BJP state unit president Dineshanand Goswami told PTI.

Stating that BJP will not allow the global players to open shops in Jharkhand, Goswami said Jharkhand Chief Minister Arjun Munda has already opposed the entry of leading global retailers in the state.

The BJP leader said they will extend support Bharat Bandh called by traders on December 1 on the issue.
