The Delhi BJP today staged protests in the capital to protest against "anti-people" policies of the Sheila Dikshit-led government.

The protests were held in Najafgarh, Uttam Nagar, Madhuban Chowk and Britania Chowk.

Delhi BJP chief Vijender Gupta alleged that there was corruption in the city government bailout package of Rs500 crore to private discoms.

"Congress has betrayed 50 lakh people living in unauthorised colonies. For the purpose of getting their votes provisional certificates were distributed and after elections they forgot to fulfil its promise," he said.

Addressing demonstrators in Najafgarh, BJP MLA Jagdish Mukhi alleged that every department of Delhi government was infested with corruption.
