To put up a united face ahead of Panchayat elections in Rajasthan early next year, the BJP has revoked the suspension of two MLAs considered loyal to former chief minister Vasundhara Raje.

After examining the reply to the show cause notice issued to Rajendra Singh Rathore and Gyan Dev Ahuja for their alleged anti-party activities, the party state chief Arun Chaturvedi announced that their suspension had been revoked.

The suspension was revoked as the reply of both the MLAs satisfied him and other party leaders, he said in a press release issued here late last night yesterday.

Both Rathore and Ahuja were suspended by the party in August this year when they had openly come out in support of Raje challenging the high command.
