BJP MLA in Madhya Pradesh booked for attacking party leader

MLA from local Kolaras constituency Devendra Jain, Jitendra Jain, Dharmendra Jain and Sachin Jain have been booked under relevant sections of the IPC.

A case was today registered against a BJP MLA, along with his three brothers, for allegedly attacking another party leader here, police said today.
    
MLA from local Kolaras constituency Devendra Jain, Jitendra Jain, Dharmendra Jain and Sachin Jain have been booked under relevant sections of the IPC for allegedly throwing burning crackers and then attacking another BJP leader Alok Bindal, who was at his place last evening, they said.
    
After being attacked and injured, Bindal ran out of his residence and took shelter in a nearby house, police said adding that the victim lodged a complaint after which the MLA and his three brothers have been booked.
    
A complaint against Bindal too has come in from one Makhanlal Jatav alleging that the former had passed casteist remarks at him. The complaint also said that Bindal had snatched some other things from Jatav.
    
"We are investigating the complaint," police said.
