The Jammu and Kashmir Congress has received a shot in the arm with a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) corporator joining the party, along with 200 supporters.
Raj Rani joined the party in the presence of state Congress chief and former Union minister Saif-ud-din Soz at a function at Muthi yesterday.
Welcoming Rani, Soz said Congress is becoming powerful day-by-day.
He said more and more leaders of other parties will join Congress soon, and added that the coalition government's first year of governance has been fine.
