In solidarity with Yoga guru Baba Ramdev's indefinite fast in Delhi against corruption, his supporters across Assam also joined his agitation in Guwahati and Dibrugarh.

A large number of the Baba's followers gathered at the Last-Gate Field in Dispur, next to the state secretariat, for demanding repatriation of black money stashed away abroad.

In Dibrugarh also a huge gathering of his followers extended their support to Baba Ramdev for success of his mission.

Arrangements for the agitational programme were made by the Assam unit of 46-year-old Baba Ramdev's Patanjali Yoga Samity and the Bharat Swabhiman Trust.

A large contingent of Baba's supporters from Assam has also gone to Delhi to extend their support to Ramdev's agitation.

The yoga guru brushing aside government's persuasion began his protest along with thousands of his followers, including leaders from Sikh, Jain and Muslim communities, at the Ramlila Maidan in Delhi early in this morning.

Ramdev's demands include promulgation of an ordinance to bring back black money from abroad, enactment of a law for capital punishment of corrupt people and confiscation of ill-gotten wealth.
