Ashok Gehlot slams BJP for levelling 'false' allegations

Some media reports last month claimed that the Gehlot government favoured a firm his son was associated with and the company was given undue benefits. However, Gehlot denied the allegations.

Rajasthan chief minister Ashok Gehlot today accused the Opposition BJP of levelling "false" and "baseless" allegations of corruption against him.
    
He also said those who levelled allegations of corruption and nepotism against him now stand exposed.
    
"The whole conspiracy of BJP has been exposed. The allegations are nothing new as they have done same 30 years back also. They made false allegations against me but it all was baseless, now they themselves are saying for face-saving that the media levelled allegations against me," Gehlot told reporters on the sidelines of a function here.

Earlier speaking at the function, Gehlot sought support from all in maintaining sanitation and said people should come forward to keep the city clean.
    
He inaugurated a sewerage treatment plant at the historical Ramniwas garden and dedicated a flyover at
Transport Nagar.
