Union minister Arun Yadav today sought resignation of Madhya Pradesh chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and his cabinet colleagues facing Lokayukta probe in corruption cases.

"BJP should seek resignation of Chouhan, who is allegedly involved in the dumper purchase scam and other ministers facing Lokayukta probes in different corruption cases," Yadav told reporters here.

The Union minister of state for heavy industries said that BJP had sought and accepted the resignation of health minister Anoop Mishra recently due to internal politics, after his relatives' name figured in an FIR in regard to a firing in which one person was killed in Gwalior.

He said that Mishra's resignation has nothing to do with corruption.
