Army officer commits suicide in Nashik

The officer, Major Nalin Shukla, was hailing from Lucknow and was in the camp to participate in a course-training. He was staying in staff quarters, they said.

An army officer today committed suicide by hanging himself at his residence at Devlali camp in the district, police said.

The officer, Major Nalin Shukla, was hailing from Lucknow and was in the camp to participate in a course-training. He was staying in staff quarters, they said.

However, the cause for his extreme step is not yet known.

Further probe is on, police added.
