Army jawan found murdered in Wellington defence college

An army jawan was found murdered at Defence Services Staff College (DSSC) in nearby Wellington today, police said.

45-year-old Company Havildar, Ramasamy, was found dead outside his quarters in Udhagamandalam by trainee officers on a morning physical workout, they said, adding his body bore a stab injury mark.

Police said they were verifying records of officers on leave and other particulars. Meanwhile, checking of vehicles has been intensified in and around Udhagamandalam and Coonoor.
