An Army jawan today committed suicide by shooting himself barely hours before his wedding at a village, police said.

Family members of Dharmendra Yadav (25) were preparing for the wedding in Babedi Khanhanpur village, around 10 kms from here, when he shot himself, they said. Officials said they recovered a suicide note from his room in which Yadav has taken responsibility for his action.
