Arms, ammunition recovered from militant hideout in Reasi

Security forces have busted a militant hideout and recovered from it, some arms and ammunition in Gulabgarh area of Reasi district, a defence spokesperson said today.

On a tip off, a joint team of Rashtriya Rifle troops, CRPF and the police launched a search operation in Gulabgarh area, about 167-kms from here, in Reasi district and busted the militant hideout last evening, he said.

The recoveries from the hideout included one UBGL grenade launcher, six UBGL grenades, one AK magazine, 8 rounds of AK and a combat dress, he said.
