In a break from tradition, Jharkhand's new chief minister Arjun Munda today sent chief secretary AK Singh to brief the press on the his first cabinet meeting.

In a break from tradition, Jharkhand's new chief minister Arjun Munda today sent chief secretary AK Singh to brief the press on the his first cabinet meeting.

All chief ministers, including Munda himself, had in the past addressed a press conference after chairing the first cabinet meeting.

Munda, who earlier in the day said he would address the press at 4:00 pm, chose to skip it.
