With the Hatia assembly seat lying vacant, Jharkhand's chief minister Arjun Munda today said he would consider an offer of BJP MLA from Kharsawan to contest from there and enter the House.

"I will seriously think over your offer, keeping the sentiments of the people of your constituency," Munda told Kharsawan MLA Mangal Singh Soy when the latter made the offer while Munda was addressing a meeting here in Sareikela-Kharsawan district.

Munda, who had represented Kharsawan three times earlier before getting elected from Jamshedpur in the 2009 Lok Sabha elections, has to enter the House within the stipulated six months period from his swearing-in, which took place on September 11 at the head of a BJP-led coalition.

Incidentally, Hatia assembly seat is also lying vacant after the death of a Congress MLA about four months ago.
