Andhra Pradesh BJP to launch mass contact campaign from Nov 29

The programme is aimed at understanding the problems of villagers related to issue like education, healthcare, sanitation, electricity and water supply in rural areas, the BJP said.

The BJP's Andhra Pradesh unit will launch the second phase of 'Palle Pillupu' ((mass contact programme in villages) from November 29 in the state, a party leader said today.

The programme is aimed at understanding the problems of villagers related to issue like education, healthcare, sanitation, electricity and water supply in rural areas, BJP state general secretary, N Ramachander Rao told reporters.

During three days programme beginning from November 29, over 1500 villages under 500 mandals would be covered and party leaders would have interaction with the villagers, he said.

Besides trying to know problems of the people, the party would also propagate its ideology on the various issues, Rao said adding that one leader would stay entire day in each village during the programme.

The party has decided to continue the mass contact programme after getting tremendous response from the public.
