Expelled Samajwadi Party leader Amar Singh today said he would continue to take part in active politics despite poor health as he wanted to see that those leaders who subjected him to "humiliations" pay for their attitude.

"My health does not permit me to take part in hectic political activity. Still, I have come here to address this rally...," Singh told a rally organised in the city jointly by his outfit Lok Manch, dalit organisation Indian Justice Party and the Peace Party of India.

Singh, who was the general secretary until his expulsion from the Samajwadi party a few months ago, alleged that he had been subject to "humiliations" by SP Chief Mulayam Singh Yadav who "unceremoniously kicked me out and now telling lies that it was me who had parted ways".

"I made all possible sacrifices for SP. But the party supremo and his henchmen never respected my efforts. I had been suffering from a severe renal disorder and was in need of a transplant...," the Rajya Sabha member said.

"Now I will to see to it that the party leaders pay for their attitude. They have been indifferent towards the general public as well as their trusted lieutenants like me who had toiled hard to help the party reach its current position", he added.

The outburst comes barely three days after Singh had dismissed speculations about his return to SP, saying he would never forget the "insults" heaped on him by Yadav.

Singh also vowed to carry on with the struggle for creation of a separate Poorvanchal state, comprising poor districts from Uttar Pradesh "which owe their backwardness to the negligent attitude of various governments that have been in power in the state".
