Opposition AIADMK today decided to boycott the October 3 Rajya Sabha polls in Puducherry in protest against the 'failure' of Congress government to fulfill their promises and tackling people's issues.
    
Speaking to reporters here, AIADMK local unit secretary A Anbalagan, MLA, said the decision was approved by the party high command.
   
AIADMK had boycotted the August 18 by-elections for five seats in Tamil Nadu Assembly, saying it had no hopes of a fair, free and impartial polls with the DMK and the UPA at the helm.
