If the Union home minister takes a negative stand on the projects of Puducherry, the Ministry should quit office, AIADMK Puducherry unit secretary A Anbalagan said.

Opposition AIADMK has flayed Union home minister P Chidambaram for his announcement that the Special Economic zone plan evolved for Puducherry was cancelled as the Industries and Commerce Ministry had not approved the project.
If the Union home minister takes a negative stand on the projects of Puducherry, the Ministry here should quit office, AIADMK Puducherry unit secretary A Anbalagan told reporters here today.
He said the project to have SEZ in Puducherry was decided by the Puducherry cabinet.Lands had also been acquired but the Home Minister who held discussions with chief minister, ministers and also officials reviewing implementation of
various schemes yesterday, had come out with the announcement that the plan had been shelved,he said.
