Ahmedabad gets 58%, Kutch 99% of average rainfall

As per data from the revenue department of the state government, Ahmedabad city has received 451 mm rainfall as compared to the average annual rainfall of the last ten years, 774 mm.

The monsoon this year was predicted to start late but prove adequate, and that seems to be coming true. Ahmedabad city had received 58% of its average rainfall of the last ten years by Wednesday morning, while the district as a whole, received 46.64%.

As per data from the revenue department of the state government, Ahmedabad city has received 451 mm rainfall as compared to the average annual rainfall of the last ten years, 774 mm. Similarly, the whole of Gujarat has received around 46% of its last ten years' average annual rainfall of 969 mm. 

By Wednesday, Kutch had received 99% of its average rainfall. The last 10 years' average annual rainfall is 396 mm, and this year, the region has already received 393.20 mm.

Similarly, Saurashtra has also received 71% of its average rainfall, followed by north Gujarat region with 53%. Meanwhile, south Gujarat and east-central Gujarat have received 37% and 33% respectively so far.
