'Abusive' top cops sacked in Jammu & Kashmir

A leaked video of the interrogation of a businessman has cost two top ranking police officers their posts after they were seen using abusive language against politicians of ruling alliance during the custodial grilling of the accused.

Senior IPS officer and SSP Vigilance Organisation Basant Rath and superintendent of police Kulgam Mubassir Latiefi were removed from their posts and attached to police headquarters after a video of the interrogation of Choudhary Nagar Singh alias Nago was uploaded on YouTube and Facebook showing the two officers using abusive language against some top politicians.
