About 24 train passengers injured in stone pelting

About 24 passengers were injured when a mob pelted stones at two trains at Ara junction in Bihar's Bhojpur district, GRP sources said.

Angry over power crisis, a group of people pelted stones at Garib Rath Express and Janata Express injuring about 24 passengers.

Window panes of a few coaches and the engine of Garib Rath were also damaged before GRP personnel chased away the agitators.

The injured passengers were given first-aid by the doctors at the railway station before the two trains left for their respective destinations, sources said.
