Following reports about the scam, police decided to investigate the case. The ACP had asked Satellite Police to find out the whereabouts of Gandhi and check if the media reports about him were correct.

"We visited his parent's house as well as his rented home but he was untraceable. We even visited his office but in vain," said Chavda. He said police have taken the statements of investors."We tracked some investors and took their statements in which they claimed to have lost money but no one was willing to file a police complaint," he said. Meanwhile, the agents of AISE Capital Management are hopeful of Gandhi's return.
