'I had researched a lot about this test - Touch DNA - and asked CBI more than a-year-and-a-half ago to get it done. But they didn’t,' said Rajesh Talwar.

Aarushi Talwar’s dentist-parents Rajesh and Nupur are angry. After CBI failed to make a breakthrough and closed the case on Wednesday, they sought to know from the agency and the home ministry why his letter seeking a special kind of DNA test, which could have helped identify the person who was present when his daughter was killed in cold blood, was ignored.
“I had researched a lot about this test - Touch DNA - and asked CBI more than a-year-and-a-half ago to get it done. But they didn’t. The test could have revealed who was there in the room that night [of Aarushi’s murder]. The test has helped solve a lot of cases,” Rajesh said.
“I don’t know why CBI is behaving like this,” Nupur said and appealed to all to get justice for Aarushi.
