Aarushi murder: Court warrant against Nupur Talwar

A Ghaziabad court on Wednesday issued a non-bailable warrant against Nupur Talwar, accused of killing her 13-year-old daughter, Aarushi.

Subsequently, when CBI officials went to Talwar’s house in Delhi in the evening Nupur was not there.

The judge issued the warrant as Nupur did not show up in the court which had ordered her to stand trial with her husband, Rajesh Talwar, for Aarushi’s death.

The next date of hearing is April 18, which means that the CBI can arrest her any time before then if she does not surrender.  Rajesh was present in the court for proceedings.

The Talwars’ only daughter 14-year-old Aarushi was found dead at their Noida residence on the night intervening May 15 and 16, 2008.
