70 injured in bus collision in Kerala

Seventy passengers were injured, three seriously when two private buses collided at Kanjirathanam between Kuruppunthara-Kuravilangad today.

Of the injured, 52 persons were admitted in the Medical College hospital in Kottayam and the rest at a private hospital in Muttuchira, police said.

"Virgin bus" was proceeding from Pala to Vaikom while the other bus Little Flower from Eranakulam to Pala.

Traffic was blocked for over an hour in the route, they said.
