6 prisoners escape from Madhya Pradesh sub-jail; 4 caught soon after

The inmates were taken outside the jail, about 60 km from Seoni, in the morning for some purpose. They attacked the jail police and escaped from there, police said.

Six prisoners today escaped from the Lakhnadoun sub-jail near Seoni, but four of them were caught soon, police said.

The inmates were taken outside the jail, about 60 km from Seoni, in the morning for some purpose. They attacked the jail police and escaped from there, they said.

However, four of them - Satyendra Kushwaha, Waheed Khan, Amarjeet and Sher Singh - were immediately nabbed. The prisoners still to be traced were Raja Khan and Vishnu, a former sarpanch, police said.

A search has been launched for the two prisoners and an alert sounded along the district border, they added.
