Acting on specific inputs that a group of people are working as couriers for militants by providing them mobile SIM cards, a police team raided several places in Surankote and Mendhar areas and arrested six persons yesterday.

Six persons, including two brothers, have been arrested for allegedly providing SIM cards to militants in Poonch district of Jammu & Kashmir, police said today.
Acting on specific inputs that a group of people are working as couriers for militants by providing them mobile SIM cards, a police team raided several places in Surankote and Mendhar areas and arrested six persons yesterday, sub-divisional police officer, Surankote, Javaid Iqbal said.
The arrested persons have been identified as Waqar Ahmed and Pawar Ahmed (both brothers), Arshad Ahmed, Imran Ahmed, Khalid Quarishi and Tahir Khan.
