5-year-old kidnapped boy rescued; 5 arrested in Uttar Pradesh

A five-year-old boy, who was kidnapped earlier this month, was rescued by a team of STF and local police from Jai Nagar in Firozabad and five persons, including two women, were arrested in connection with the abduction.

Ishaan, the son of trade tax officer Sunil Kumar Singh, was abducted on April 12 and the kidnappers were demanding a ransom of Rs50 lakh for his release, SP Manjil Saini said.

On a tip-off, the team arrested five persons -- Mukesh, Dharmendra, Beena Devi, Sunita and Nand Kishore -- later last night and rescued the child, he said.
