5 still absconding in Ellisbridge death case

The case of the debt-ridden Paldi resident, Avinash Patel, who killed self and his family this week has taken a new turn. Cops have declared the five persons, whom Patel blamed in his suicide note, as wanted accused. However, they are absconding and the Ellisbridge police are looking for them.

Police are also looking into calls made by the absconders. The five accused are Dadu, Nalin Solanki, Ramesh Desai, Girish Sanghvi and Mahavir.

Dadu is believed to be from Odhav. Solanki, who claims to be a friend of Avinash, has his house in Ambawadi, but police could not find him there on Friday. Ramesh Desai, a financier, is also absconding. Girish Sanghvi is believed to be the main accused in the case. In some other case, an FIR against Sanghvi has been filed at Navrangpura police station. The police do not have any information about Mahavir also.

Solanki had earlier told police that he was a partner in the medical store of Avinash and had paid Rs8 lakh to him to acquire a stake in the store. He had also shown some proof to police.
