4-year-old Amreli boy dies after falling into bore-well

A four-year-old boy who had fallen into 120-feet deep bore-well in Maurangi village of Rajula taluka (Gujarat) died today, police said.

Ashwin Bharwad, had fallen into an open bore-well yesterday evening.

According to police, the rescue operations began couple of hours after the boy fell into the bore-well and lasted till this morning.

The boy died before he could be rescued, they said, adding his body has been sent for postmortem.

Police said investigations were on to find out who was responsible for keeping the bore-well open.
