Four students were today injured when a crude bomb kept in an under-construction house went off in Karari area of Kaushambi district in Uttar Pradesh, a senior officer said.
The students of Mother India School were playing in the under-construction house, located next to the institution, this afternoon, superintendent of police Kripa Shanker said.
The bomb exploded when one of the students stepped on it accidentally.
Initial reports said that the explosion was the result of a crude Improvised Explosive Device which was buried under the sand.
All the four students have been rushed to a hospital in Allahabad, he said.
