Four persons have been arrested here for allegedly impersonating as officials of a nationalised bank and duping people on the pretext ofarranging loans for them.

Four persons have been arrested here for allegedly impersonating as officials of a nationalised bank and duping people on the pretext of
arranging loans for them, police said.
     
Police laid a trap and arrested them yesterday from domana area of the district, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Jammu, Manohar Singh said.
     
Fake cheque books, pass books and other documents were also recovered from the accused -- Devi Dass, Makhan Lal, Chatter Singh and Ashok Kumar, he said.
     
The four used to impersonate as employees of Vijaya Bank and charge Rs 2000 to Rs 10,000 as processing fee for issuing loans up to Rs 5 lakh.
     
A case against them has been registered for duping about a dozen of people, the SSP said.
